"In the rain the colours are bright, grass is greener, even though the sky is grey..."

This lyric dropped into my heart while staring out the window on a gloomy, rainy day, as I was sitting at my piano, tinkering on the keys for some hope of inspiration... Something I often did as a therapeutic escape during a season of depression and many life trials. But through these battles the Lord led me to ‘revelation through lyrics’ that were really a ‘Reminiscent’ message of the Lord’s never ending faithfulness, love, joy, freedom and healing that never left my life, even in the valleys.
I pray that these songs will cause you to ‘Reminisce’ on all of God’s goodness and faithfulness!

Speechless

Sometimes I feel like a singer with no voice / And sometimes I feel I have no choice / But to remain silent... / Sometimes I feel like a writer with no words / And sometimes I’m left with a blank page /
And no song to emerge... / But just like one can’t tame the ocean / Nor can day restrain the sun / So my words cannot contain / The only One... who... / Leaves me speechless, Leaves me speechless, Leaves me speechless, Leaves me speechless / The Creator of the universe chose to love me / And left me speechless /
Sometimes I feel so small under the stars / And sometimes I feel that pain / Renders me too many scars / Sometimes I feel like a boat in a mighty storm / And sometimes I feel like a fragile / Tree in a wind so strong / But in the womb I had his attention / In my sin and shame He loved me / And now He calls me amazing / He’s the only One who...

Leaves me speechless, Leaves me speechless, Leaves me speechless, Leaves me speechless / The Creator of the universe chose to love me / And left me speechless, And left me speechless

Breathe You In

Barely breathing... I wonder if I’ll / Reach the peak of this climb / Barely standing... I fear I’ll... Faint before the finish line / Sometimes the burden of life can get me down to a crawl,
Leaving me to fear, I lack the courage to stand tall /

I want to breathe You in / I want to soar Your galaxy / I want Your freedom within / Even amidst the raging storm
/

In the moonlight… I feel the shadow of Your hand / Following close behind / Completely broken… You seem to make the pieces fit / And make a poem from this rhyme / Looking into the mirror, I shy away from what I see / Unconfident to be who God made me to be /

I want to breathe You in / I want to soar Your galaxy

I want Your freedom within / Even amidst the raging storm / I want to breathe You in / I want to fly above it all / I want the courage to… Walk on Water

Worship You

I’m at a loss of how to tell You / You are everything to me / There are no words to describe You / Jesus You are King, Jesus You are King

I’m amazed by Your glory / I’m floored by Your grace / As I sense You here beside me / I’m lost in Your embrace, I’m lost in Your embrace

Oh I............. I just want to worship You / I Just want to gaze into Your face / Until the space around me fades / In the wonder of Your grace / I just want to worship You / I don’t have to wait for heaven / To gaze into Your loving face

You tore the veil so we could enter / Into Your holy place, Into Your holy place

Boldly I Stand before You / Made Worthy, I run to You

Believe

In life there are many storms / But in every storm / There’s a chance to calm the wind / In life there are many fires / But in every fire / There’s a chance to stand with Him

In every trial there’s a reason / Greater than ourselves / In every battle there’s a promise / To lead us to the win

We can soar / Even when the winds are strong / We can rise / Even though we may fall / We can slay / Any giant before us / We can only receive / What we believe

In the dark there’s a shining light / There’s a Morning Star / To lead us to the day / In the rain the colours are bright / Grass is greener / Even though the sky is grey

We must look beyond just the moment / For it’s more than the eye can see / If we hold onto His every promise / It’s then we will believe...
